In order to give our members a positive overall Web site experience, including an in-depth analysis of their health and fitness, we sometimes ask for sensitive and personal information.

Information Collected
Walkingspree collects personal information about you when you sign up for a Walkingspree account. This information includes your age, sex, weight, body measurements and level of activity. Once you sign up for an account and sign into Walkingspree, you are not anonymous to us.
As a Walkingspree member, we collect and store information provided by you and at your option, to help you manage your overall wellness at the web site as well as to maximize the accuracy and enjoyment of your Pocket Pedometer – examples are your daily steps, distance walked, specific events, other fitness activities, completed daily tasks, and personal notes.
Walkingspree also enables members to establish private clubs and communities and/or establish walking partners and buddies (collectively referred to as “Walking Clubs”), and Walkingspree therefore stores both descriptive information about the group as well as a listing of its members.
Walkingspree also stores the information you enter about foods and nutrition, activities, goals, and all other information collected in the online forms.
At times, we may request information through surveys, polls, events or contests. Participation for these areas of the site is completely voluntary.
This web site and its services are not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children, and we do not knowingly market our products or services to children.
Use of Collected Information
At times, WalkingSpree will share aggregated demographic information with our business partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. At times, we will partner with another party to provide specific services. When a Walkingspree participant signs up for these services, you will be asked to provide authorization that permits Walkingspree to share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties will not be allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
We may use an outside shipping company to ship orders and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
When you join a Walking Club, you are electing to share your step data to that group for use in reporting and for comparison purposes. Participating in a Walking Club is done at your discretion and you can elect to cancel your participation in any group at any time.
Your individual fitness and wellness information is used to provide the services available to you as a subscriber to chart and record your activities. Aggregate information related to steps completed, weight loss and health lifestyle will be shared with your employer who sponsored your enrollment. Your individual step data is visible to other participants.
Log files/IP addresses
When you visit our Walkingspree.com site, we may automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognized by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer the site and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Non personal information
Walkingspree may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you linked to our site. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on our site. We may from time to time supply the owners or operators of third party sites from which it is possible to link to our site with information relating to the number of users linking to our site from their sites.
